A logo ought to be simple, engaging and memorable. We don’t want it to be overly burdensome for our guests.
Case in point… have a look at the Conoco Phillips logo, the red triangle shape above the text. I have it on good authority from an industry insider that they paid $3.5mm for that design and its associated market research.
You might consider something a little more understated. Whitespace is King. Eschew unnecessary noise.
